  Voodoo Dolly here with big news!! Keepsakes and the Advanced Story Point System(ASPS) are coming to Kickstarter!  The ASPS is a core engine made to be quick and easy. It gives you the ability to create customized framework tailored to your specific game world, with mechanics you've built to fit your vision.  Build your character's background, attributes, influence, and conditions. All can be tailored to suit your game - glass, race, equipment, abilities, talents, flaws, and more.  ASPS provides the tools to make the world you want to run, and gives you the game engine to make it a reality with a minimum of work.  Pre-set genres are in the works for GMs who would prefer to use them!  Keepsakes uses the ASPS. You awaken as a Widdershin, a cast-aside toy once deeply loved, brought to life when separated from your owner. Armed with a magical key that transforms into a weapon when needed, you protect humanity from the unseen things that lurk in the darkness under beds, in closets

They take it and come upon an abandoned store, where they battle cursed cutlery, an evil Jack-in-the-Box, and some haunted mannequin heads. They venture further into the building and find...Ann! Ann requests help in dealing with a group of mischievous inklings that she believes may have scared the shop owner away. The team realizes that before the inklings will come out they must first deal with the evil Bogies that also inhabit the former store.   Voodoo Dolly here!  We're working hard on Keepsakes , but while we're doing that I want to introduce you to one of our current titles, Fox Magic !  Fox Magic is a narrative game where the players create a den of kitsune - Japanese fox spirits, to protect their domain.  The setting-agnostic engine allows the game master to run the game in any world, any genre, and any time period. The rules allow the game master to set the backdrop, while allowing the players the freedom to innovate and expand on each scene, creating new events, new characters to interact with, and tell their story, while providing the game master a firm but gentle hand in keeping the players on-track.  It uses the d12 Story Point System.  Voodoo Dolly here, bringing you a recap of last Thursday's Keepsakes  playtest before we kick off tonight's stream!  When we last left off, our heroes were once again dealing with the Great Winged One! After convincing her they were not a threat and took refuge inside the trunk of the tree. There, they met a snake that told them of a bridge they could cross that could lead them to where Ann might be. They find it, and after crossing with no issues, took the sewer to get across the street to an abandoned store and factory. After dealing with some cursed cutlery, a Jack-in-the-Box armed with scissors, and some haunted mannequin heads, they venture further into the building and find Ann! Ann requests their help in dealing with the inklings: strange shadows that like to cause mischief. Ann believes they are harming the residents of the area and that they may have driven away the owner of the store. She asks that they bring the inklings to her so that she may deal with them, but th

  VooDoo Dolly here, bringing you a recap of our last Keepsakes  playtest!  During our last stream, our team of brave Widdershin narrowly avoided a vicious attack by El Gato! After some distractions by Socks and some fast-talking by Drifter, they escape with their wits intact and head back to the little girl’s bedroom. Buttons reads the note and discovers she ran away to look for her doll, Sally. Buttons and Socks join forces to track the girl to a quiet road where she’s looking for her doll, and she soon discovers the Widdershin and after a failed attempt at communication, brings them all back to her room. Once back, they discover Ann had been hiding in a can! Ann takes off, ignoring their attempts to get her attention, and they follow her to the playground and into the forest, home of the Great Winged One. As they continue to follow Ann, they can’t figure out why she’s behaving so strangely for a Widdershin. They are spotted by the Winged One during their pursuit, and discover the ow

Last week, our intrepid team of Widdershin were searching for Ann, another Widdershin that had gone missing. They managed to evade the infamous El Gato, but not without attracting the attention of the humans and nearly becoming dinner for two very skittish rats in a bedroom closet. After Drifter channeled his inner Kool-Aid man to break through the rat hole into the living room they once again encounter the deadly El Gato! Voodoo Dolly here! Hope you're all staying safe and doing well. I'm super excited for our kickoff stream tomorrow on Twitch! Since we'll be playing Keepsakes , I wanted to share a little bit more of what the game is about. In Keepsakes , you play as a cast-aside toy. You could be a doll, an action figure, a stuffed animal, or any other toy that can be personified by its owner. The love the owner had for the toy, and the pain they felt when the toy was lost, awakens the toy’s spirit, bringing it to life. Once awakened, the toy is called a Widdershin .  Every Widdershin finds a key, which transforms when the toy claims it, becoming a weapon and magical device. The Widdershin find others of their kind, form into a pack, and explore this new, strange world together. Many Widdershin try to find their original owners. Some even succeed. The thing is, the world out there is a lot more dangerous than humanity knows – there are things lurking in the shadows, under beds and in closet
